One of Tessa's favorite sayings was: Be who you are and say how you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. -Dr. Seuss

She is the brightest star in the night shining down from heaven, showering us in her light. She is a beautiful sunset as the day abruptly ends, in those breathtaking moments before the darkness descends. She is the morning sunshine warming our hearts in her glow, the most pure and soft blanket of newly fallen snow. She is a soaring eagle finding freedom in her flight, shedding free her earthly chains as she drifts beyond our sight. She is the sound of music, that makes our spirits dance, the hidden courage we find when we're afraid to take a chance. She is our guardian angel full of peace, hope and love, watching over us from heaven, in the skies high above. She is a precious memory we hold deep inside our hearts, where she will live forever and we will never be apart. She will never again know sorrow, no pain, no burden, no despair. She has gone back home to Jesus and someday we’ll join her there.

Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. As you awaken in the mornings hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there, I did not die.
